To do today (Saturday):
Fix flat tyre
Empty dishwasher
As many loads of washing as possible
Shower (it always has to go on the list)
Gardening
All while hanging out with a 3 year old and a toddler.
George had a tummy upset during the week. It seems to be better now, he hasn't done a shit since 6pm last night but he's still whingey. I think that might just be the age though. 18 month olds are hard!
Jason went to Rottnest yesterday with a couple of friends on a yacht. Last night I got a message from Martin saying Jason fell in the water with his phone so direct messages to his phone.
I KNEW THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN!!! I actually imagined it the night before, and I thought I might tell Jason to put his phone in the waterproof case, or at least in a ziplock bag. But then I forgot.

Now it's Monday. I'm at work and it's one of those days where I want to hide away from responsibility. Because I'm tired.
On Saturday my friend came over and we went to Bunnings with the kids. Just as we were about to leave home George sat in a puddle and I had to wash him and change his clothes.
We had a coffee in the cafe while the kids played in the playground, then we bought soil and plants and came home, but it was a 3 hour trip. Both kids fell asleep on the way home and I had to prep a roast chicken and veg for dinner and after that Kell and I had a beer and sat out the back until my parents came over.
On Sunday while George was asleep I did some gardening and now instead of just a sandy patch it looks like this outside George's bedroom window:
I was too tired to tidy up afterwards, and just managed a shower before George woke up.
The tube I had for the tyre was the wrong size, so I missed riding to work yet again today. I've now got the right size tube, so I should be able to ride again on Thursday.
Jason got a new phone today. Apple will give you a different, reconditioned phone in the same model for a couple of hundred bucks.
Now I must get back to doing work.
